Brother International has introduced a new inkjet Multi-Function Centre (MFC) range that complements smart devices and cloud services for “unparalleled” ease-of-use.
“As multiple devices become an integral part of our homes and offices, the need for simplicity has never been greater. The enhanced connectivity of the new Brother inkjet MFCs is designed to work seamlessly with smart devices with unparalleled convenience and ease,” Stefanie Murphy, marketing specialist at Brother International Australia, said.“The enhanced connectivity and cloud functionality features in this series help our customers attain higher productivity in less time, on whatever device they prefer.”
According to Brother, GfK research shows that those intending to upgrade to an A4 inkjet will consider products that are reliable, have multiple functions and wi-fi connectivity.
“The versatile Brother inkjet MFCs deliver value at all of these consideration points,” Murphy said. “Air print compatibility and Mopria-certification allows for connectivity with other devices through wireless networking, while the wi-fi direct feature also provides the ability for mobile devices to send documents directly for printing and scanning, saving time by removing the requirement of a computer.
“To reduce mistakes and wastage, documents can even be previewed and edited on a mobile device before being sent for printing with Brother’s iPrint&Scan mobile app. The flagship model, MFC-J880DW, also features near field communication (NFC), enabling direct connections with NFC-ready smartphones and other devices,” she said.
