OfficeMax happy to be paid later
OfficeMax has repeated its ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ back-to-school promotion following a 1000 per cent increase in pre-Christmas orders last year.
‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ allows parents to order all their children’s school items in December, before Christmas, and wait until January to finalise payment and organise delivery.
Families can also earn rewards for schools through the OfficeMax School Rewards programme, which runs year-round and has raised $4 million since it began in 2007.
Day Made Better winners
Meantime, 10 primary and secondary school teachers have been surprised across the country by their students, colleagues and community as the winners of the OfficeMax 2017 A Day Made Better Teaching Awards.
The teaching awards, which recognise primary and secondary school teachers who go above and beyond for their students, received an overwhelming 50,000 nominations in the bid to find this year’s top 10 most inspiring teachers in Australia.
OfficeMax sales and marketing director, Paul Munkley commented, “At OfficeMax, we’re committed to supporting the education industry and understanding the importance of recognising the hard work and commitment teachers bring to the classroom, which is why we created the A Day Made Better Teaching Awards.
“Once again, we’ve been overwhelmed by the number of genuine nominations we received. All of our winners inspire their students through outstanding learning programs and a tailored teaching approach to help build their skills and self confidence. It’s a privilege to be a part of something so encouraging and to see how so many teachers are making a difference in their local communities.”
Each of the ten winners will receive a host of prizes for their classrooms worth over $5000, including office products provided by OfficeMax’s partners and an Apple iPad.
